Drinking
A Bittersweet Queer aka Isake’s Gin Lemon Drop (large batch drink):
ice cubes (as needed to fill your pitcher halfway)
14 ounce your favorite dry gin
14 ounce dry vermouth
2-3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
long thin strips of lemon peel (as needed for garnish)
Sugar cubes
Directions: Fill pitcher halfway with ice, add liquid ingredients, stir. Place sugar cube in cocktail glass, pour, leaving ice in pitcher. Garnish with lemon peel.

Drinking
Old Vermont (this recipe makes one drink)
5 ounces gin
½ ounce Grade B pure maple syrup (Maple syrup from Vermont, of you can get it!)
¼ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
¼ ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
2 dashes bitters
Ice
Orange rind
Combine all liquid ingredients into a shaker, add ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass, twist orange rind, and place on surface of drink. Enjoy!
